Undergraduate CertificateIDA Accredited Plus

This undergraduate certificate provides knowledge and practical application of skills for instructing students with dyslexia within the regular classroom. This certification is IDA Accredited Plus by the International Dyslexia Association.

As a teacher education student enrolled in a licensure program, you may choose to add the dyslexia certificate to your coursework.

This is a University issued certificate and does not represent state licensure. Students outside the Department of Teacher Education may take the certificate courses with permission from the department chair.

How to Enroll

This certificate is only open to degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Dayton.

To enroll, meet with your advisor and submit a Curriculum Maintenance Request to add the certificate to your student record. Approval processes vary by academic unit.

Work with your holistic advisor to learn how you can pursue this certificate without increasing your time to graduation.
