Counseling Center

Here When You Need Us

UD's Counseling Center provides mental health services to UD undergraduate and graduate students. Our drop-in model allows students to access same-day sessions for a one-time consultation or to connect with ongoing services. We also provide group therapy, individual therapy, psychiatry services and crisis consultations. Services for undergraduate students are free and confidential!

Crisis Services for Students

For mental health crisis help during the day, call UD's Counseling Center at 937-229-3141 or visit us in the Health and Wellbeing Center. After business hours, call the UD Counseling Center at 937-229-3141 and press option "2" to speak with an on-call crisis intervention specialist.

You may also call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.

About the Counseling Center

Hours

We are open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, except during University holidays. After-hours, students may reach an on-call crisis intervention specialist by calling 937-229-3141 and pressing option "2".

The UD Counseling Center also offers daily drop-in hours so students may more quickly and easily access a mental health professional.

The UD Counseling Center is located on the first floor of the Health and Wellbeing Center.
