Become a Global Citizen

Why limit yourself? Expand your universe and explore a world brimming with possibility and opportunity.

Our team of highly qualified and dedicated faculty are ready and eager to help you develop the intercultural understanding, skill sets and savvy you will need to actively and effectively engage with the international community and make a positive difference in our world.

Every Student Is Unique. So Are We.

Complete an Intercultural Experience

Put global learning into practice through an intercultural or global experience. Whether through study abroad, internships, volunteer or service work, virtual global exchanges or community engagement, you'll gain firsthand experience navigating cultural differences and reflecting on your role in an interconnected world. Experiences may take place abroad, in the United States or on campus.

Connect Through Our Centers

The Human Rights Center creates a positive change through research, education and dialogue. As a global studies major, you'll have the opportunity to work at the heart of a global human rights community.

The Center for Social Concern provides opportunities for hands-on experience addressing social justice issues, including reflective service, service-learning and education and advocacy for justice, challenging students to become people of service.

Through the Global and Intercultural Affairs Center, you can connect with programs, events and resources to continue your international journey whether it’s here at UD, in your local community or across the world.

Get Involved on Campus

You'll have many opportunities to connect with other global languages and cultures students.

UD also offers a variety of ways to meet other students and become involved in our campus community.
