- File the FAFSA as soon as possible.
- Decide if you wish to submit test scores and check if they are required (UD is test-optional).
- Prepare your essay. This is your opportunity to distinguish yourself in your own voice. Select a prompt that speaks to your experiences and who you are as a person. Share details that help reviewers create a meaningful understanding of who you are as a whole person and how you will contribute to the UD community.
- Ask for letters of recommendation, if needed — and be sure to thank them.
