As UD continues to evolve to meet changing times, we’re integrating AI into the curriculum from the start. Through first-year courses and beyond, students explore technical fundamentals and ethical questions about AI. They develop the knowledge and skills to use AI effectively and responsibly, with a human-centered focus that prepares them to learn and lead in an increasingly AI-enabled world.

Inclusive Excellence at UD link-arrow link-arrow

UD’s commitment to inclusive excellence is rooted in our Catholic and Marianist mission, which calls us to honor the intrinsic value and dignity of every person. We’re proud of the high levels of access and achievements made by historically underrepresented students at UD.

  • 75% graduation rate for multi-ethnic students. UD’s overall graduation rate is 80%, compared to national averages of 69% at private and 63% at public universities
  • 11% of undergraduates are first-generation college students
  • 96% of multi-ethnic students find success within six months of graduation through employment, graduate study or service
While we’ve made significant advances in student support, we remain committed to continued progress and to helping all students succeed.
