Chapel of the Immaculate Conception

Sunday Mass

During the summer (beginning May 17) Mass is held at 10 a.m.

During the academic year, Sunday Mass is held in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at 10 a.m., Noon, 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Once every month, a Memorial Mass is held for members of the extended UD community who have died recently or who have had an anniversary of death.

Weekday Mass

During summer break (May 11-Aug. 14), Mass is held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday.

During the academic year, Mass is held in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at 12:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Mass is not held on days when the University is closed.

Guest parking permits are required on weekdays. Please stop at the Visitor Center in lot C to obtain one.

Adoration and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

Adoration and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is held in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception during the fall and spring semester:

Monday-Thursday: 4-6 p.m.
Friday: 1-3 p.m.

Confession/Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception

Tuesdays: 11 a.m.-Noon
Wednesdays: 7-8 p.m.*
Fridays: 11 a.m.-Noon*

*During the fall and spring semesters.

To schedule a personal appointment with a priest for Reconciliation at a different time, please contact the Campus Ministry office at 937-229-3339.

Residence Hall Masses

Mass is held at 8:15 p.m. every Wednesday. The location alternates between the chapels in Stuart Complex and Marycrest Complex.

One Friday per month, Mass is also held at 7:15 a.m. in the Marianist Hall chapel.

Memorial Masses

Each month, a Memorial Mass is held for members of the extended UD community who have died recently or who have had an anniversary of death. They will be remembered by name during the liturgy.

Memorial Mass Schedule

The Mass is held at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, and you may also view the service via our livestream. All are welcome.

If you would like to submit a name to be remembered at our Memorial Mass, please contact Teri Dickison.

The large number of requests from UD alumni and friends makes it impossible for us to take stipends for Masses to be offered for individual intentions. If you would like to have a Mass said for a particular intention of a loved one, we suggest that you send your request with a stipend to the Marianist Mission.
