Program Goals

The UD physician assistant program strives to have all of its students successfully accomplish six goals in order for them to become highly functioning members of a healthcare team upon graduation. In addition to these goals, the program aspires to have graduates who demonstrate pristine ethical behavior in all aspects of clinical practice, promote healthy lifestyles and provide holistic patient care in primary care and underserved communities.

1. UDPA will enroll students who are highly qualified and perform strongly in science prerequisite courses.
