The University of Dayton Women Engineering Program (WEP) is committed to providing engineering students with opportunities for networking, service and academic growth, as well as social activities to meet peers and build meaningful relationships within a supportive community. WEP provides assistance to connect students with campus resources and opportunities for scholarships, jobs and more.

Any and all members of the campus community, regardless of sex, are invited to participate in WEP.

Society of Women Engineers

WEP works directly with the UD chapter of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). This student-run club focuses on creating professional development, service and social opportunities for students in engineering and technology.

Phi Sigma Rho

Social sorority for women in engineering and technical majors. UD is home to the Gamma chapter. Members develop the highest standard of personal integrity, strive for academic excellence and build friendships that last a lifetime.

Women in Science and Engineering (WISE)

The WISE mentoring program strives to build a network of support on campus. Participants are paired with a mentor and placed in a mentoring family, creating a strong sense of community and support through workshops, peer mentoring and social events.

The WISE Integrated Learning-Living Communities (ILLC) is a community of students who share interests and goals in science, health science, engineering, mathematics and related fields. The program fosters meaningful connections, offers opportunities for peer mentorship and provides experiences that promote both academic and personal growth.
