It's Not Enough to Just Learn About Business
As a UD business student, your classroom experiences will give you a solid base of understanding into the operations of any business enterprise. But this is just the start of your education.
To really excel as a business professional, you'll need to gain practical business wisdom outside the classroom. That's why we created BWISE (pronounced "Be Wise"): Business Wisdom through International, Service and Experiential Education.
Requirement Overview
In order to complete the BWISE graduation requirement, you must complete two out of three components:
- International: By completing an education abroad program, international internship or internationally-focused coursework, you'll understand the global nature of business.
- Service: Service is central to our mission. Rooted in our Catholic and Marianist heritage, our curriculum inspires civic engagement. We're committed to empowering you to volunteer your time, talents and knowledge to solve problems in our community and beyond.
- Experiential: Through an internship, co-op or other experiential activities, you'll hone your real-world business skills.
