Entrepreneur Ready to Mass-Produce Eye Movement Recording System Thanks to Engineering Senior Design

Ron Waldorf joined forces with an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department to create the DAX Evidence Recorder, which records eye movements of an impaired driver. Looking to reduce costs and prepare the DAX product for mass production, Waldorf connected with the Innovation Center in the School of Engineering to become a sponsor of a senior design project.

The University of Dayton cancelled afternoon classes on Monday. Well, not exactly. The Central Mall, dotted with students, faculty, staff and families sprawled on blankets, turned into a massive outdoor laboratory for viewing the moon move across the sun and cast the University into twilight and then near-darkness.
