Religious studies students can choose from several curricular and extra-curricular activities to enhance their learning experience, as well as participate in service opportunities.
The University of Dayton is a local chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa, the National Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology. Undergraduate Religious Studies students who show above-average achievements are inducted into TAK in the spring semester each academic year.
As a religious studies student, you'll have the opportunity to participate in pilgrimages and international travel experiences, as well as opportunities to create your own internship focused on community involvement and off-site service and experience. There are some prerequisites and requirements to participate in these opportunities. Additionally, scholarships are available.
As a Catholic, Marianist university, we are constantly looking for ways to use our gifts and talents to create brighter tomorrows. Here, you can find many opportunities to make a positive impact in the Dayton community — and around the world.
