Enhancing Your Knowledge and Skills

The University of Dayton offers varying types of noncredit activities for lifelong learners. Many courses are designed for the enhancement of profession-specific knowledge and skills. Others are designed for those with more personal educational goals. In-depth, skill-building courses teach practical skills in a relaxed learning environment.

Non-Credit Opportunities

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are a nationally recognized way to document participation in non-credit professional development, training, and lifelong learning activities. One CEU represents 10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction.

The University of Dayton issues CEUs through Special Programs and Continuing Education (SPCE) for eligible programs, workshops, conferences, and courses offered across the University.

Dayton Celebration Chorus

The Dayton Celebration Chorus is a community choir for adults of all ages who love to sing. No auditions are required to join.
