von Ohain Fuels and Combustion Center Receives Industrial Grants Totaling $1.1M
Industrial Grants totaling $1.1 million were won by University of Dayton School of Engineering von Ohain Fuels and Combustion Center researchers. Companies who sponsored research: Avetec Inc, BASF, Boeing, DuPont, Engineering Research and Analysis Corporation, Environmental Chemical Corporation, GE Aviation, ISSI Inc, Parker Corporation, and Syntroleum Corporation.
Government sponsors: Air Force, Department of Energy, state of Ohio, and SERDP.
Currently, 40 professionals work in the von Ohain Fuels and Combustion Center, and our annual research revenues exceed $6 million. The von Ohain Fuels and Combustion Center recently hired several engineers and scientists to work in its Fuels Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, and Combustion Groups.
