Bio
Julie Motz is a faculty of practice in the Department of Engineering Management, Systems and Technology at the University of Dayton. She received her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and master's degree in education from the University of Dayton. Prior to joining UD faculty, Julie worked as an industrial controls and simulation engineer for the automotive industry, aerospace quality engineer, and university lab management. Julie has a passion for experiential engineering education with teaching experience at both the secondary and introductory college levels. Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, biking, cooking, gardening and supporting the performing arts.
