Profile

Linxin "Kisa" Li is a dancer, choreographer, filmmaker and creative director from China. In 2015, she relocated to the United States to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at the University of Dayton. Further deepening her knowledge of the art, Kisa earned a Master of Fine Arts with a focus on dance film in 2019 from the Florida State University.

Kisa is an award-winning filmmaker. Her captivating films have been showcased in screenings across the globe. She has also lent her expertise as a judge for the Student World Impact Film Festival and as a jury for the Utah Dance Film Festival in 2023. In the realm of choreography, Kisa's inventive works have garnered numerous accolades at international, national and regional dance competitions.

Beyond her artistic pursuits, Kisa is a developing activist. She is driven by a conviction that her primary role as an artist is to create art that addresses social issues, instigates change and influences future generations. Her ambition is to interweave her practical and theoretical experiences with her art, striving to learn, grow, compelling stories and draw attention to those who are often ignored by society.
