Your Story is Part of Flyer History
Every Flyer has fond memories of their time at UD and we want to hear yours! This oral history project provides alumni the chance to tell their UD story in their own words. After the collection is complete, these unique stories will be compiled into a book that celebrates our alma mater and our history.
The oral history project is a partnership between UD and Publishing Concepts, Inc., (PCI). In addition to collecting stories, PCI will assist in collecting updated biographic information from alumni to ensure we have up-to-date information to stay connected with Flyers across the nation. You will be offered an opportunity to purchase the oral history publication and other merchandise. You are under no obligation to do so.

How to Share Your Story
Alumni will receive a postcard (like the one pictured here) and email from PCI with instructions on how to share their story. Stories will be collected via a phone call with a trained member of the PCI team.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, UD is partnering with Publishing Concepts (PCI) to gather alumni stories from their time at UD and produce an oral history publication. And, while they have you on the phone, they will confirm your contact information is up to date.
PCI is committed to protecting your information. The names, addresses and information provided to PCI for the publication of the Oral History Project will be held confidentially, except to the extent that they are utilized in, or in the preparation of, the Oral History Project and as required by court order or law.
If you received a postcard or email with a telephone number, you may call the number to speak with a dedicated representative for the Oral History Project. They will verify your contact information and ask you to share your story about your time at UD. Your story will be recorded and provided to UD at the end of the project. You can also submit a story and verify your information online by using the embedded link in the email.

You can share a story any time before 5/3/2024.
Yes! You will receive an email with a link to upload one photo (black and white or color) plus a caption. You can also submit a photo by mail.
Yes! Please email customerservice@publishingconcepts.com. PCI will send you a personalized link for you to share your written story and photo.
The oral history publication will include your name, class year and degree, along with your story and photo. No contact information is printed. It will only be used to update your alumni record for the school/alumni association.
You may revoke consent for your story and/or photo to appear any time before 5/3/2024 by contacting PCI’s customer service helpdesk at 1-800-982-1590 or customerservice@publishingconcepts.com.
You will be offered a chance to purchase a copy of the publication and UD branded merchandise, but there is no obligation to do so. The options are as follows:
