Ready, Set, Graduate!

Attention Graduates:

• The Fall 2024 official graduation date for all graduates is December 14, 2024. This is the date that will appear on all official university documents (transcript, diploma, certificate) pertaining to your graduation.
• The Fall Commencement Ceremony will be held at the UD Arena. The ceremony begins promptly at the specified time.

• Graduates should use the Porches Graduation Dashboard to review details regarding the Fall graduation processes! There are general FAQs listed on this site, but a majority of student-oriented information will be located on the Dashboard.
• If you need to make any updates to your Fall 2024 graduation application, email graduation@udayton.edu. All updates MUST be submitted by Friday, November 1, 2024 at 4:30 PM.

What Happens After Graduation?

• Dean's Offices have 30 days after end of term processing is officially complete (see the Academic Calendar for dates) to confer your degrees/certificates.
• Parchment is the University of Dayton's partner for diplomas, certificates, and transcripts. If you do not already have a Parchment account, you will be prompted to create one.
• After placing your order, the diploma/certificate will arrive in approximately 4 weeks to domestic addresses and 8 weeks to international addresses. Please note: Shipping times may be longer than anticipated. Please contact Parchment Support for additional questions.
  • Please ensure your diploma mailing address is accurate BEFORE graduation. This can be confirmed through your Graduation Status portal on Porches. Email graduation@udayton.edu with any corrections.
    All updates MUST be submitted by Friday, November 1, 2024 at 4:30 PM
