A Four-Year Degree is Within Reach
The UD Sinclair Academy offers an affordable way to earn a four-year degree. The most common reason why students join the UD Sinclair Academy is the financial savings.
As a member of the Academy you'll benefit from:
- Affordable Sinclair tuition — among the lowest in the state of Ohio — when you're enrolled at Sinclair.
- Consideration for UD merit scholarships, grants and loans when you file the FAFSA.
- UD net tuition is locked in on your transparent financial aid offer (FAFSA required).
Financial Aid Options
File the FAFSA to be considered for awards, including:
Generous merit scholarships based on academic achievement:
- Trustees’ Merit Scholarship: $27,000
- President’s Merit Scholarship: $25,000
- Dean’s Merit Scholarship: $21,000-$23,000
- Father Chaminade Merit Scholarship: $17,000
Need-based awards — which can include institutional, federal and state awards — including grants (don’t have to be repaid), work study and loans.
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) scholarship: This $3,000 per year scholarship is awarded to transfer students who are members of the PTK honor society at the time of admission. (If you’re inducted to PTK after admission and before transitioning to UD, please reach out to Julia Thompson to be considered for the PTK scholarship on an exception basis, pending funding availability.)
