Policy
The tenured faculty of the University of Dayton shall be reviewed periodically as an assessment of teaching ability, scholarly and professional activities, public service, and service to the University.
Each tenured faculty member must be evaluated by peers using a method acceptable to the relevant department, at least once during each six-year interval. These methods shall provide for written performance feedback in a fair and equitable manner.
When viewed in its totality, the University of Dayton’s processes for reviewing tenured faculty members shall be largely consistent with the guiding principles advanced by the American Association of University Professors (AAUP).
