Meet SLO the Snail

Our mascot, Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) the Snail, reminds us to take our learning slowly and embrace the circuitous process. SLO demonstrates the relationships among the five goals.

Meet SLO the Snail

“Know” and “ask” are the first and last outcomes. They show the cycle of lifelong learning and encompass “decide,” “practice” and “share,” which cover abilities, habits and information creation.
