Employers are also offered year-round services through the Engineering Co-op and Internship Office to help find co-op/intern matches.

Work Terms

Work terms align with the University of Dayton's academic calendar:

  • Fall: End of August to mid-December
  • Spring: Beginning of January to the end of April
  • Summer: Beginning of May to mid-August

How to Get Started

1) Register with UD's preferred hiring management tool, Handshake.

2) Contact the Engineering Co-op and Internship Office to:

  • Gain insight on current hiring and pay trends for co-ops and interns
  • Sign up for on-campus interviews (held each fall and spring semester)
  • Schedule interview sessions on campus (other than career fairs and on-campus interview events)
  • Advertise your company and/or open positions at tabling events
  • Gain support in finding and hiring student co-ops and interns
