A Hub of Activity

Whether you have an organizational meeting in one of the KU meeting rooms, are attending a talk by a nationally recognized speaker in the Ballroom, or just want to relax with friends and bowl a few games in the Hangar, KU is where it's at.

The John F. Kennedy Memorial Union offers comfortable surroundings and a variety of services for the University community. In addition to spaces for studying, relaxing, dining and having fun, KU is home to Center for Student Involvement, so you can find ways to get involved on campus, explore your interests and build friendships.

Boll Theatre, which seats 371 people, is a performance and event venue for both the University of Dayton and the Dayton community.

The Hangar is a casual, fun space with comfortable seating, bowling lanes and pool tables. It's also home to the Fly By, which offers a variety of food and drinks.

KU is home to four dining options, where you can find bakery items, salads, soup, pizza, international cuisines, grilled food and more.

Info Center

Located on the first floor of KU, the Info Center serves as a central place to answer questions and provide information about campus contact information, campus events and more. You can stop by the Info Center on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or call 937-229-INFO (4636).

Meeting and Event Spaces

KU provides a variety of spaces for both formal and informal events, including meeting rooms, ballrooms, Torch Lounge, the Central Mall, KU North Plaza and NPHC Legacy Terrace, KU South Patio or Humanities Plaza. These spaces can be reserved by UD students, faculty and staff, as well as the larger community. For more information, contact Conference and Event Services.

Additional Amenities

ATMs and Vending Machines

On the ground floor of KU, you'll find ATMs for Fifth Third Bank and Day Air Credit Union. There are also two vending machines — one for snacks and one for essential supplies.

Campus Card Services

Have questions about your FlyerCard or Flyer Express? Stop by Campus Card Services, located on the first floor of KU.
