Business with Purpose

At the University of Dayton School of Business Administration, we don’t just teach business; we cultivate the leaders who will define its future. Guided by our Marianist values, our curriculum blends academic theory with experiential learning — from managing multi-million dollar investment funds to consulting for global industry leaders.

Whether you are looking to launch a startup or enhance your skills with an MBA, you'll graduate with more than just a degree; you'll possess the ethical foundation, the professional network and the proven track record to turn your ambition into a career of purpose and impact.

Career Development

Our programs prepare you for the career you desire. Whether it's coursework, faculty support or guidance about career paths, we provide the tools and support you need.

All undergraduate business students complete four courses (50+ hours) of professional development through the Career Flight Plan — covering everything from CliftonStrengths and AI specializations to business etiquette, mock interviews, negotiation and more. Through UD's partnership with Podium Education, the Global Career Accelerator offers a high-impact, for-credit experience that gives you a competitive "Early Edge" before you even apply for your first internship.

As a graduate student, you can prepare for career advancement through problem-based learning, and many courses immerse you in real-world scenarios, enhancing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
