President's Blog: From the Heart

Pope Leo XIV

Prayers for Pope Leo XIV

By Eric F. Spina

Dear students, faculty, and staff,

Let’s extend our sincere congratulations to Pope Leo XIV, the first U.S.-born pontiff in history!

His inspiring words from the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica speak to the heart of our Marianist mission. He shared a vision for a Catholic Church “that builds bridges and dialogue.” It was a message of unity in a world that needs healing.

Please take those words to heart and pray for peace and unity. May God grant Pope Leo XIV the wisdom and grace to lead for the common good.

As the semester comes to a close, I wish you a time of rest and renewal. To our graduating seniors, congratulations on this milestone!

Wishing you God’s blessings,

Eric F. Spina
President
