The Third Week of Advent: A Visio Divina Devotion

By Ann Zlotnik

The Marian Library is gifting you with a moment of tranquility and reflection combined with the vibrant and detailed artwork of John August Swanson — which is currently on display in the Nativities and the Natural World exhibit now through Jan. 12.

We hope you enjoy this visio divina, an ancient monastic form of prayer and reflection with artwork, and share it with others.

Visit go.udayton.edu/adventwreath each week of Advent to interact with our wreath and see what surprises we have in store for the UD community and all of our friends near and far.

Ann Zlotnik is a graphic designer and the communications and creative coordinator for the University Libraries and the Marian Library.
