Y2K Finals Week

The countdown begins to finals week, and we’re studying like it’s 1999. Chillax with these events and services at Roesch Library. Booyah!

Clock it

Roesch Library will be open 24 hours beginning at 7:45 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, and will not close until 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13. Use your UD ID to enter the building after 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and after 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

What’s up, dog?

Visit with UD 4 Paws for Ability therapy dogs 5–7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, on the first floor across from the leisure reading bookshelves.

Pizza! Pizza!

Enjoy free pizza starting at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, in the LTC rotunda, ground floor. Sponsored by the UD Alumni Association and Students for University Advancement (SUA).

Now that’s some high-quality H2O

Sip on free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the first-floor Refuel Zone beginning at 10 p.m. nightly Sunday, Dec. 8, through Thursday, Dec. 12, while supplies last.

Grown-up Lunchable snack break

Build your own Lunchable plate at the grazing table featuring meats, cheeses and crackers (gluten-free available) and a selection of nostalgic noshes, beginning at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, in the first-floor Refuel Zone, while supplies last.

Millennium making

Take a craft break with Y2K stickers, small notebooks and coloring pages starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, in the first-floor lobby, while supplies last.

Now that’s what I call music!

Tune out stress with our millennial-curated Spotify playlist.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays

Celebrate the harmony of Christmas with songs and Nativity sets. Music, Nativities and artwork illustrate the story of Jesus’ birth. Take a break and view Joy to the World! on floors 1 and 7.

Enjoy your finals week, and congratulations on completing your fall semester. Go Flyers!

Special thanks to:

  • Our student employees for selecting our finals week theme and brainstorming study breaks
  • Donors on One Day, One Dayton 2024 for supporting student well-being
