The Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF) is a global community. Unrestricted by time zones, borders and languages, we are spreading our mission further everyday.

While being able to serve people from all corners of the world is a joy, hearing from our students about their positive experiences with the VLCFF is sometimes an even greater joy. Recently, we received a letter from one of our students in Ghana that we wanted to share with our global community. 

Sr. Judith Segla, of the Sisters of Notre Dame de L’Eglise, wrote to express her gratitude for the sponsorship she received allowing her to partake in one of our online courses. Sr. Segla is a Catholic Nun from The Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, Ghana. She is a graduate of Cape Coast University, where she earned her M.Ed. in Educational Psychology in 2018. She has been a student of the VLCFF since January, 2022.

Gratitude

Dear Sir/Madam,

Warm greetings from Ghana and the peace of the Holy Spirit be with you.

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude to the University of Dayton for sponsoring me to offer the wonderful course titled ‘Theological Reflection: Connecting Faith and Life’ that I recently had the opportunity to undertake. I am overwhelmed by the incredible support I received from my facilitator throughout my journey, and I cannot thank you enough for the precious experience I gained. 

The sponsorship provided by the University of Dayton has not only assisted me in achieving my academic goals but has also instilled in me a sense of responsibility to give back to the Church and society. My appreciation goes to Robert Stewart and Angela Hall for their assistance. 

Besides, I would like to acknowledge the participants in the VLCFF. Interacting and collaborating with individuals from various backgrounds and cultures has been an enriching experience. The exchange of ideas, perspectives, and experiences has broadened my horizons and fostered personal and spiritual growth.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and support. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities provided to me through this sponsorship. I am confident that the knowledge and skills I have acquired will have a positive impact on my future endeavors, both personally and professionally wherever God sends me.
