University Honors Program

Every semester the University of Dayton sends students abroad to Madrid, Spain. This semester one of those incredible students is Junior Ariana Callaghan! Come read about some of the important stories and lessons she has learned since she started her journey of living in Madrid.

Are you starting to consider how to spend your summer? The Berry Summer Thesis Institute is an incredible opportunity that you should consider. Every summer the University of Dayton hosts driven honors students from any major to conduct research before the start of their junior year. If there is a  topic  you are exceptionally interested in, the program provides a $2,000 fellowship, funding for research, and housing here on campus in the summer to dive into the research alongside others  who are likewise focused on furthering their research.

A unique offering in the University Honors Program is the Hull Fellowship. This fellowship is offered twice a year to Honors students considering studying abroad. Read below to hear the experience of a Hull Fellowship recipient, Tara McLoughlin.
