Who's Publishing What: Go Ahead and Laugh

What happens when a witty housewife experiences ordinary events? Unexpectedly funny outcomes! From holiday mishaps, adventures in marriage and parenting, social blunders, and eye-rolling commentary, these takes on the daily grind really put the fun back in perfunctory!

Go ahead and laugh!

Barbara Scharfenberg has been weaving words and telling tales for decades. She has been published in a poetry anthology, several small-town newspapers, and once on the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop website. Go Ahead and Laugh: A Year of Almost Completely Not Made-Up Stories is her first book.

She is not the winner of any writing awards.

Barbara has performed stand-up comedy which she says is, “The single most exhilarating and terrifying experience ever.”

When she’s not writing, Barbara loves to cross-stitch, assemble jigsaw puzzles, drink coffee, eavesdrop and listen to true crime podcasts.

The proud mother of three adult children, she resides in Waconia, Minnesota, with her husband, Steve. Follow Barbara on Facebook at www.facebook.com/BarbisBarb.
