Erma's Got Talent, 2024

Erma's Got Talent, Season Three

Erma’s Got Talent is back for season three!

Loosely formatted along the lines of America’s Got Talent, the virtual event offers 12 randomly selected contestants the opportunity to perform two minutes of their original stand-up material in front of three celebrity judges — acclaimed comedians Jane Condon, Wendy Liebman and Joel Madison. Nancy Berk, comedy writer and host of the podcast “Entertaining Insights,” will serve as emcee. The event is slated 7-9 p.m. (EST), Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Here are the performers:

Liz Alterman | Chatham, New Jersey
Rachel Brown | Indianapolis, Indiana
Ginger Claremohr | Indianapolis Indiana
Carol Lee Dowd | St. Augustine, Florida
Meaghan Elwood | Seattle, Washington
Glenda Ferguson | Paoli, Indiana
Lisa Marlin | Denver, Colorado
Holly Rizzuto Palker | Short Hills, New Jersey
Suzette Martinez Standring | Milton, Massachusetts
Mary Lu Strange | Wilder, Kentucky
Mary Warwick | Murrysville, Pennsylvania
Matthew Wolski | Naperville, Illinois

The winning contestant and runners up will be eligible to perform on the virtual stage at Attendee Stand-Up Comedy Night at 9 p.m., Saturday, April 6. Other performers will be selected randomly after the auditions, and host Jane Condon will select three more from her Stand-Up Comedy Boot Camp. The boot camp is open to all attendees interested in learning more about writing and performing stand-up comedy, not just those who are performing Saturday night.

Entertaining and educational, Erma's Got Talent is an instructional opportunity for participants as well as the audience. The judges will highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the performances and material and offer expert suggestions.

Erma’s Got Talent is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Register here.
