Who's Publishing What: The Wishing Bridge

Booklist describes Wade Rouse’s newly released Christmas novel, The Wishing Bridge, as “a heartwarming holiday tale sure to please readers who want a gentle, cozy Christmas read in the vein of a Hallmark movie.”

The novel has already landed on three bestseller lists: USA Today, Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance and Great Lakes Independent Booksellers Alliance. It’s also a Woman’s World magazine book club pick.

Wade Rouse is an internationally bestselling author of five memoirs and 12 novels. He writes fiction under his grandmother’s name, Viola Shipman, to honor the Ozarks seamstress whose sacrifices changed his family’s life. He lives in Michigan and California, and hosts “Wine & Words with Wade, A Literary Happy Hour,” on Thursdays on Facebook.

He will serve as one of the keynoters at the sold-out April 4-6, 2024, Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop.
