Who's Publishing What: Spook the Magic Kitten

Can a witch really fly on a broomstick with a black cat? Of course. There are lots of books with pictures of witches and black cats flying on broomsticks. In Dean Norman’s new children’s book, Spook the Magic Kitten, Spook is a black kitten who hates to fly on a broomstick. When he falls off and is found by a young girl, it becomes a wild time for the girl and her family. The kitten has magic powers that amuse and confuse everyone.

Dean, the author of The Lucky Generation: 1930 to 2030...If We Are Lucky and several children’s book sequels, is a cartoonist and humor writer, whose work has appeared in greeting cards, The New Yorker, MAD Magazine, The Cleveland Plain Dealer Sunday Magazine and The Kansas City Star. He's also written comedy for cartoon shows and written and illustrated children's books. He illustrated a cartoon book for Cleveland Metroparks, Cleveland Metroparks Adventures.
