Most of us open ONEchat, type a prompt, and never touch anything else on the screen. Fair enough; that works fine for a lot of what people need. But there’s a small + button next to the chat box that opens a full toolkit most people have never clicked into, plus a way to pull your most-used agents right into that same default chat instead of hunting for them elsewhere. Here’s what’s inside.
Everything Under the + Button
Click the + next to the chat box, and you’ll find: Add Files & Images, Import From, Image Creation, Web Search, Data and File Tools, Quick Prompts, Skills, and Reasoning Mode, all in one place instead of scattered across menus. Image Creation, Web Search, and Data and File Tools are turned on by default for compatible models, and you can toggle any of them on or off as needed.
Data and File Tools Now Works With Every Model
Data and File Tools give ONEchat code execution and file analysis. Models with their own native code execution (like OpenAI’s) have always had this. What’s new: several models that couldn’t do this before can now, through nebulaONE’s Data and File Tools, so you have more flexibility in which model you reach for to analyze a spreadsheet or run a calculation. It’s on by default for compatible models, with a toggle in the + menu if you’d rather turn it off.
See Token Cost Before You Even Ask
If you read our earlier post on picking the right model, here’s a shortcut for it: the model selector now shows a leaf icon (🌿) next to each option, indicating how token-efficient it is. More leaves mean lighter on your usage limit; no leaves mean the heaviest, deepest-reasoning tier. It’s the token-efficiency guidance from that post, built right into the picker so you don’t have to remember which tier a model falls into.
Bring Your Most-Used Agents Right Into ONEchat
ONEchat isn’t limited to the default chat experience; it can also connect you directly to specialized agents grounded in UD’s own data, without making you leave ONEchat to find them. Instead of navigating to a separate agent, you can reach your most-used agents right from the same chat window you’re already in.
For example, the TDX Assistant agent is available directly inside ONEchat. Need help with a TeamDynamix ticket or IT question? You don’t have to go looking for a separate agent chat; it’s right there.
Try it yourself: next time you need to submit a TDX request, skip the usual route. Open ONEchat and just type in the kind of request you want to submit. See what happens.
