Across their four-year journeys at Sinclair College and the University of Dayton, PAL Fellows are part of a close-knit community of Pell-eligible students empowered with resources, support and industry experiences, including:
- Individualized Student Support: Dedicated staff members will help guide student's journeys as they explore their vocation and make industry connections.
- Holistic Academic Advising: As a student in the UD Sinclair Academy, Sinclair advisors will support you to ensure you stay on track in your pathway. You'll also meet with your UD advisor all four years — they will connect you with campus resources and ensure your credits will transfer seamlessly to UD.
- Community from the Start: The PAL Fellowship is designed with an intentional focus on cohort-based engagement to allow students to build community and connections through a first-year summer bridge program, workshops and events throughout their four years.
- Work-based Experiential Learning: Each semester, students will participate in opportunities to gain workplace-ready skills through workshops, professional development and hands-on learning. These experiences will build over four years, helping students gain confidence and real-world experience in their fields of study. Financial assistance will be available to support students with work-related costs, such as purchasing professional attire, travel costs and more.
As part of the UD Sinclair Academy, students benefit from a seamless pathway to ensure all credits transfer from Sinclair to UD. You'll also have full transparency about the cost of your degree. After being admitted to the Academy, you'll receive a four-year financial aid offer from UD outlining your costs for all four years, allowing you to plan for success with confidence.
