In addition to the online application, you should submit the following:
- Official academic records of all previously attended colleges or universities must be submitted directly from the colleges or universities to the Office of Graduate Admission Processing. Hand-carried transcripts, official copies marked “Issued to Student” and unofficial copies are not acceptable. Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution to the University of Dayton through a transcript platform or to transcripts@udayton.edu.
- Two professional letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a current or former supervisor who is familiar with your competencies, abilities, and qualifications. Personal and peer references will not be accepted and should not be submitted. Up to two additional letters of recommendation will be accepted, but are not required.
- A current, professional resume with detailed work experience.
- Results from the GMAT/GRE are not required. However, they may be requested in some circumstances for a final admission decision.
- A personal statement (optional). If you choose to provide a personal statement, please use it to address areas of your academic and/or professional histories that may benefit from further clarification (example: details on gaps in work experience, circumstances surrounding poor academic performance/disciplinary actions, or explanations concerning legal disciplinary action). Length should be no more than one page, double-spaced. Please include your name and date of birth.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
For applicants with a non-business degree, or who lack coursework or work experience in key areas of undergraduate business study, foundation modules are required. The modules are online, self-paced, non-credit bearing, pass/fail. The admissions staff will determine how many (up to 5) of these modules may be required.
