At UD, we have an 8-acre solar prairie at Daniel J. Curran Place. In addition to generating energy, it provides a hands-on laboratory and studio space for students of various disciplines.

We also have a campus garden and multiple native pollinator-friendly plantings across 11 acres of green space support sustainability efforts across campus. Some of the garden's produce is also available at the Flyer Farmers' Market, a weekly event held for a limited time each fall semester.
