A degree in communication prepares the graduate for a multitude of careers. A good understanding of effective communication and related skills are invaluable in the fields of advertising, business, education, electronic media, government, journalism, public relations, social services and theatre. UD students are well prepared to enter the field due to our excellent academic programming, and through numerous extra-curricular opportunities: student-run media outlets such as Flyer TV, Flyer Radio and Flyer News, internships and study abroad, student membership in organizations at local, state, national and international levels, speech and debate teams, as well as several University-wide programs.
