The University of Dayton Office of Academic Research champions and catalyzes academic research, scholarship and creative activity.
The staff provides strategic guidance and operational support to meet the needs of UD's faculty, staff and students engaged in scholarly pursuits. They also provide leadership in developing a vision and goals for research, especially interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial work that addresses the needs of the community. The office is committed to ensuring compliance with federal, state and university regulations and promoting a research culture grounded in ethical standards.
The Office of Academic Research promotes and assists with intellectual property and technology transfer, and actively engages with community partners to increase synergies between the University's academic research enterprise and its partners.
