
1 - Kari Seurer ’06 and Elisabeth Russo Cassady ’06 met up in Madeira Beach, Florida, for a mini reunion to enjoy the beach, dancing, dolphin watching and reminiscing.

2 - Lifelong friends from the Class of 1974 — Joe Waymeyer, Bill Skelly, Mike Miller, Ann Weisenbach Bianco, Bill Bianco, Karen Wurmser and Steve Tomassi, plus Lois Missall '80 — took a trip to Sedona, Arizona, where they went hiking, rode the Verde Canyon train and visited the Grand Canyon.
3 - Paula McQuillan Martinez ’72 and Ralph Martinez ’74 visited a Buddhist monastery near Kathmandu, Nepal, in January. The couple spent time traveling via plane, train and automobile throughout India and Nepal.
4 - Megan Defendis Spinos ’97 stopped for a picture with UD Magazine while touring the Vatican as part of her 10-day trip to Rome and the Amalfi Coast last fall.
5 - Jennifer Hunt Ptak ’07 and Dan Ptak ’07 traveled to Panzano, Italy, with Annie Pecoraro ’07, her husband, Jeff, and her daughter, Audrey; Quintin Cappelle ’07 and his wife, June; and Katie Przybysz Winter ’07 and her husband, Ian. They brought UD Magazine along to the beautiful hills of Tuscany and toasted with a glass of Chianti.
6 - After visiting Cameroon in 2002 on a UD immersion program, Benedict “Ben” Kolber ’03 returned this past spring while working with scientists at the University of Dschang to identify new pain-relieving drugs from medicinal plants.
7 - Pat Flynn ’04 found the perfect spot for a photo while touring the Museum of Illusions with his family in Montreal.
8 - Doug McKewon ’84 and Dave Harrison ’84 have maintained a tradition of traveling together every year since graduation more than 40 years ago. This year, they spent a week exploring Ireland, including a hike around the Dingle Peninsula.
9 - Class of 2013 roommates Jessica Blalock Duffield, Shannon Larkin Ruiz, Katie Gibboney, Mackenzie Wahlen Brogan and Melanie Brumleve have traveled to eight states together as part of their annual roommate reunion trips. In July, they marked off number nine after visiting Portland, Oregon.
