As a foster mother, Erin Dooley ’00 has experienced the ups and downs as she welcomes children into her home. Her short film Adopting Faith follows a newly widowed woman facing the life-changing decision to adopt a sibling set she and her husband had planned to welcome together. She struggles with uncertainty in her faith to fulfill the promise she made. Dooley said she wants people to use her film to educate people about the challenges foster children face and provide resources and opportunities for families to become involved.

Through opening her heart and mind to the mysteries of the rosary and leaning on God’s voice for guidance, she learned from her mistakes and experienced a faith-filled transformation. She encourages others to lean on God and partake in a discernment journey toward love and faith.

In her autobiography, The Red Mustang, Jeanne Pflaum Gnuse ’59 shares a heartfelt journey with her late husband, Tom, during their 53-year marriage.
