Cruising through the 1984 Daytonian, we found these fly Flyers, relaxed to the max atop a totally radical ride. Were you chillin’ among them? Email us at magazine@udayton.edu

 IN THE LAST ISSUE

No one wrote in to identify themselves as one of the people maneuvering a hula hoop through their legs and arms in this photo from 2000’s Daytonian. But it noted a photo credit: professor Peter Titlebaum who, thankfully, is still with the University. He wrote: “I do remember that event and I still am in touch with the student who ran it.” That former student is Josh Studzinski ’01, now vice president of experiential marketing for MashBerry in Columbus, Ohio. He was part of a group of sport management students who ran field day events for local businesses. This photo included employees from Deloitte’s Dayton office. “We did a hula hoop relay, Oreo stacking contests and water balloon toss … games that took skill and communication,” he said. “At the time, I didn’t quite understand it, but now, being in the corporate world, it’s what we call team-building.”
