Cincinnati Zoo: Festival of lights
International students took a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo Festival of Lights last week thanks to the University of Dayton Global. The Cincinnati Zoo is transformed into a wild wonderland during the holiday season when visitors can ride the Toyland Express, look for fairies in Fairyland, visit characters from the movie Frozen, sit with Santa Claus and visit the Gingerbread Village. Cincinnati Zoo has repeatedly been voted the #1 Zoo Lights event in the country as a favorite Ohio family holiday tradition.
The Park's main highlight is the Light Tunnel and the spectacular Wild Lights show on Swan Lake. This synchronized light and music show is around a 21-foot-tall tree decorated with thousands of lights. My international friends and I had an amazing time experiencing a great Ohio tradition.
