Computers and Printing

Although it’s common for students to have personal laptops and to submit assignments electronically, Roesch Library’s desktop computers and print, scan and copy machines are popular amenities.


Located on the first floor:

  • Single-monitor computers, including two height-adjustable workstations. View software list.

  • Multifunction devices that print, copy and scan with FlyerPrint.

Located on the second floor:

  • Computers and desks with dual monitors

  • Story Studio media editing workstations with:

    • Adobe Creative Suite

    • Audacity

    • Camtasia

Payment

  • Prints and copies are 4 cents per print for black and white and 20 cents per print for color.

  • Payment is deducted from your Flyer Express account. Before you print, make sure there’s enough money in your account to cover the cost; if not, the job won’t print.

  • Please visit Information Point for assistance. We are unable to issue refunds.

Software

All library computers come equipped with:

  • Acrobat Reader (PDF reader)

  • IBM SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences)

  • Microsoft Office Professional Plus Suite

  • VLC (multimedia player)

  • Paint.net (digital photo editing)

  • Read & Write Gold (text-to-speech software)

  • NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access)
