UD's Nano-Fab Lab, housed inside a Class 100 cleanroom (ISO 5), has all the capabilities to go from raw substrates to completely packaged devices. Capabilities include: advanced thin film deposition, metrology, photolithography, and chemical and plasma etching.
Advancing Critical Technologies for the AI Age
IBM and UD are collaborating to advance critical technologies for the age of AI including AI hardware, advanced packaging, and photonics. To support the collaboration, IBM will contribute state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment for a new semiconductor nanofabrication facility on the UD campus.
