Experiential Learning

Students can connect with shadowing, research and clinical experiences through UD’s Pre-Health Resource Center (PHRC).

Additional services include weekly seminars with a variety of health professional school admissions departments and the annual University of Dayton and Miami Valley Hospital Healthcare Symposium.

PHRC also offers application workshops, mentoring and support to any student pursuing admission to medical, dental, PA or other health professional schools.

Clubs and Organizations

UD has thriving student-run organizations that focus on activities, issues, service and professional development opportunities that are relevant to medicine, dentistry and health.
