Programs for Incoming Students

We look forward to welcoming you to the UD community! To help you prepare for life as a Flyer, we offer several programs and opportunities for incoming students.

Multi-Ethnic Overnight

What's life like at the University of Dayton? During the multi-ethnic overnight program, held during the spring semester, you can discover why more than 8,000 undergraduate students call the University their home-away-from-home. As part of this event, you will meet current students, faculty and staff, spend the night on campus, and engage with the multi-ethnic community.

This event is open to any and all accepted students. There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required. To register, sign in to your Admission Account.

MECPrO

Held two days before Welcome Weekend, MEC Pre-Orientation (MECPrO) is a free program for incoming first-year students and families.

Students are introduced to integral support services and resources through a series of presentations and activities. Students are also provided with an opportunity to network and connect with fellow UD students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

This event is open to any and all incoming students.
