In 1846, Mary, as the Immaculate Conception, was named the Patroness of the United States of America. In honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary, explore this designation through the collections of the U.S. Catholic Special Collection and the Marian Library.
Visit the Roesch Library lobby for a small display of physical items from the collections, along with access to a digital exhibit and a selection of books on the topic. The books may be checked out by eligible borrowers.
