The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory until noon Saturday for wind chills as low as nine below zero. As cold weather persists, the University wants to remind our community about tips for protecting yourself, your residences and your property, plus dealing with winter weather. These will be posted on UD's emergency preparedness and response page, along with updates on weather alerts, event cancellations and building closures.

UDOLLI Spring 2026 Registration Starts on February 2nd!

UDOLLI Spring Term 2026 Registration Feb 2

Spring 2026 Is Calling: Registration Opens February 2

There’s something energizing about a new season of learning—and Spring 2026 at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Dayton (UDOLLI) is shaping up to be one of our most engaging terms yet.

Registration opens Monday, February 2, and we invite you to join a vibrant community of adults 50+ who believe curiosity doesn’t retire.

UDOLLI is for EVERYONE!  Anyone wanting to take park in the program is welcome. You don't have to have any affiliation with the university to join. You just have to have curiosity and a willingness to learn.

A Special Invitation to UDayton Retirees

If you’re a University of Dayton retiree, this is your reminder that your term fees are $0 after a $40 annual membership. HR covers your membership each term! What a deal.  That membership unlocks access to dozens of seminars each term—taught by peers, faculty, and community experts—in a welcoming, discussion-based environment.

Whether you’re newly retired or years into your next chapter, UDOLLI offers a meaningful way to stay intellectually active, socially connected, and engaged with campus life.

What’s Inside the Spring 2026 Catalog

This spring’s catalog reflects the breadth and depth our members have come to expect. With hundreds of seminars offered each year, Spring 2026 features opportunities to explore timely topics, revisit enduring questions, and try something entirely new.

You’ll find seminars spanning areas such as:

  • Current Events & Civic Life – thoughtful conversations about today’s most pressing issues

  • Health, Wellness & Aging Well – practical insights for living well now and into the future

  • Arts, Literature & Music – from creative expression to deep appreciation

  • History, Science & Culture – understanding the world through context and curiosity

  • Technology & the Digital World – building confidence and staying informed in a changing landscape

Seminars are offered in person at Curran Place, online via Zoom, and occasionally off-site, making it easy to participate in a way that fits your schedule and comfort.

More Than Classes—A Community

UDOLLI isn’t about grades or pressure. It’s about learning for the joy of it, sharing perspectives, and forming connections with others who value lifelong growth. Many members tell us they come for the seminars—but stay for the friendships.

From first-time participants to long-time members, everyone is welcomed into a culture that values respect, dialogue, and curiosity.
