The University of Dayton's Office of Special Programs and Continuing Education (SPCE) is buzzing with activity as we welcome new leadership, open registration for our popular programs and invite faculty and community members to be a part of our fall lineup.

Meet Our New Leadership Team

We're thrilled to introduce Katie Reynolds as the new SPCE Executive Director. Katie brings a wealth of experience in educational leadership and program development, with a deep commitment to lifelong learning. She is a proud UD alumna, Marianist Educational Associate and UD employee continuing her service to UD by leading SPCE into a new era of innovation and engagement.

Joining her is Teejai Dorsey, SPCE's new Program Manager. Teejai comes with a dynamic background in nonprofit programming, student support and event coordination. Her energy and creativity are already shaping how we serve our community of learners.

Together, Katie and Teejai are dedicated to expanding access, increasing engagement and building partnerships across campus and the Dayton region.

New Horizons Music Program and Dayton Celebration Chorus

Do you sing, play an instrument, or just love music? Our New Horizons Music Program welcomes adults at all experience levels to participate in bands, orchestras and small ensembles in a supportive and joyful environment. Our Dayton Celebration Chorus offers a chance to lift your voice in song and build community through music. Registration for both programs is available online.

An open house for New Horizons will take place Aug. 14, 2025, from 10 - 11:30 a.m. at Temple Beth Or, 5275 Marshall Road, Kettering 45429.

Faculty and Community Leaders: Share Your Passion!

UDOLLI thrives on the generous contributions of moderators who bring their expertise and enthusiasm to our classrooms. We are actively seeking seminar proposals for upcoming terms and would love to hear from University of Dayton faculty, staff and professionals who have a topic they're passionate about.

Moderating a seminar is a rewarding way to:

  • Earn University service hours
  • Engage with Dayton's vibrant 50+ community
  • Make new connections with fellow lifelong learners

No grading. No pressure. Just great conversations and shared curiosity. To propose a seminar, submit a UDOLLI Seminar Proposal Form.

Whether you're a returning member or a first-time visitor, we invite you to join us in making Fall 2025 a season of connection, creativity, and discovery.

Stay curious, Flyers!
