Ali Carr-Chellman accepted to the Fulbright Specialist program
Ali Carr-Chellman, dean of the School of Education and Health Sciences and faculty in the Department of Teacher Education, has been accepted into the competitive Fulbright Specialist program for a three-year tenure.
The Fulbright Specialist program matches institutions around the world with American experts in a variety of fields for two- to six-week project-based exchanges. The short duration Fulbright Specialist program aims to create long term cooperation and consultancies.
Carr-Chellman's focus on the Fulbright Specialist roster is diffusion of innovations, systems theory, artificial intelligence applications in education, organizational development and educational technology. Carr-Chellman’s scholarly record has positioned her as an expert in change management, user-design, gender and gaming, and instructional design.
"I'm honored and excited to have been added to the Fulbright Specialist Roster and have already been approached by partners about possible global exchanges," Carr-Chellman said. "I hope to find an opportunity to learn more about the state of artificial intelligence as applied to education and health sciences. I am also really excited to look at global efforts toward effective change management, particularly in some of the most successful contexts for this work internationally."
